NEW TRAWLER

LAUNCHING TO-DAY A 52-foot trawler, which has been on the stocks at Miller and Tunnage’s yards at Port Chalmers for about the last 10 months, will be launched this afternoon. Built to the order of a Greymouth fisherman, the boat has been constructed on similar lines to the Sea Rover and has a gross tonnage of about 25. She will be driven by a 120 h.p. engine which has already arrived from overseas. Mr Tunnage told the Daily Times last night that work would be started on another craft as soon as labour and materials were available.
