CALL FOR HIGHEST STANDARDS Rec. 9.30 p.m. LONDON Aug. 5. The Daily Telegraph’s Hamburg correspondent says a new appeal for the highest moral.discipline on the part of officers and men in the British zone of Germany has just been made by Lieutenant-general Sir Richard McCreery, commander-in-chief of the Rhine army. “Our example must be faultless,” he declared. “A far higher standard of conduct by army officers is essential if we are to make a success of the tasks ahead.”
