MAIDEN RACING FOUR
PURCHASE BY BOATING CLUB The Oamaru Boating Club, assisted by the Minister of Supply, Mr Nordnieyci, has successfully completed negotiations with Messrs George Towns and Sons, Gladesville, New South Wales, for the purchase of a maiden racing four of plywood construction. The boat is expected to arrive at Oamaru within the next year. Its cost is approximately £l2O, with a further £3O for shipping and transport: c.iarges.
