WILSON CUP MATCH BONSPIEL ON IDABURN DAM A one-day bonspiel for the Wilson Cup, competed for by seven clubs in the Idaburn Curling Council’s district on Thursday, was won by the Oturehua Club, with the Blackstone Hill Club one point behind. Ice conditions were very good, and the curling was keen and enjoyable. Results were as follows: Morning Games.—Blackstone 1 24, Upper Manuherikia I 10; Becks I 19, Rough Ridge II 15; Upper Manuherikia II 21, Cambrian I 16; Oturehua II 19, Blackstone II 11; Alpine II 27, Rough Ridge I 6; Oturehua I 25, Cambrian II 17; Becks II 27, Alpine I 11. Afternoon Games.—Upper Manuherikia II 19, Rough Ridge 14; Cambrian I 23, Alpine II18; Blackstone II 17, Becks I 12; Blackstone I 24, Oturehua I 12; Cambrian II 23, Rough Ridge II 15; Oturehua II 21, lpine I 14; Upper Manuherikia I 25, Becks 19. Final: Oturehua 77 points defeated Blackstone 76 points.
