BURIAL OF VICTIMS
JERUSALEM, Aug. 1. Three hundred former comrades attended the burial, with full military honours, of the British Intelligence sergeants, Mervyn Paice and Clifford Martin, whom the Irgun Zvai Leumi hanged in a grove near Nathanya. They were buried in Ramleh Cemetery. A wreath-laden Union Jack draped the coffins, and the mourners included two Arabs. A Roman Catholic requiem service was held for Martin, and the Church of England service for Paice. Representatives of the G.O.C. and the High Commissioner attended.
