NEW STATION MASTER
DUNEDIN APPOINTMENT Special to the Daily Times NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 3. Mr W. P. Harpur, who has been stationmaster at Hawera for two years, has received notice of his promotion and transfer to the position of stationmaster at Dunedin. He expects to leave to take up his new duties within a fortnight. Mr .Harpur joined the railway service as a cadet 36 years ago at Marion, and after being overseas for five years during the first world war, served at a number of North Island stations before his appointment to his present position.
