The Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed the British Embassy in Buenos Aires that Senora Peron will' not visit England during her European : tour. This was officially announced in London to-day. Admiral Thompson, press officer for the proposed visit, said: “We can advance no reason why Senora Peron is

not coming. We have never been in direct contact with her. and this report came from Buenos Aires. Lord Davidson, chairman of the Reception Committee, and the committee itself much regret that she is not coming.” The Argentine Embassy had a lav-ishly-furnished flat for Ihe senora in its Belgrave Square mansion.
