ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE P.A. PALMERSTON N„ May 28. The conference of the New Zealand Master Monumental Masons’ Association has concluded.. • Reporting on the association's cemetery improvement plan, the president, Mr H. S. Bingham, of Dunedin, said it had now been adopted by 11 councils and boards. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr Bingham; Vice-president, Mr H. W. Parkinson (Auckland); Committee —Messrs R. Fraser (Invercargill), G. Mcßride (Gore), W. T. Tretheway (Christchurch), G. Glover (Wellington), L. P. Anderson (Wanganui), and W. F. Short (New Plymouth). The 1948 conference will be held lr Dunedin.
