DOMINION BOUND
CORINTHIC DIVERTED FROM SYDNEY Insufficient cargo AVAILABLE Rec. 11 p.m. SYDNEY, May 26. Australia will lose the services on her maiden voyage of the new 15.000 ton liner Corinthic, which is due in Sydney to-morrow from Liverpool. Because it is impossible to find sufficient meat and dairy produce for Britain to fill her refrigerated holds, she will be diverted to New Zealand. The Corinthic will be the seventeenth vessel this season to be so diverted. Her capacity from New Zealand will be more than, 7000 tons of meat or dairy produce in addition to 4QOO tons of general merchandise. Luxury accommodation is provided for more than 80 passengers and only five berths have been allotted to Australia. She will probably leave Sydney for New Zealand on Saturday.
MOVEMENTS AS SCHEDULED P.A. WELLINGTON, May 26. When the Sydney cablegram concerning the Corinthic was submitted to the Shaw Savill Company at Wellington to-night, an official stated that the vessel had alv-ays been scheduled to discharge in Australia and load in' New Zealand.
