CITY WATER STORAGE
IMPROVEMENT OVER WEEK-END
There was a considerable gain in the supply position at the city water storage reservoirs at the week-end, and the total amount in storage at 9 a.m. yesterday was 65,216,000 gallons. The gain for the 24 hours up to 9 a.m. on Saturday was 570,000 gallons, on Sunday it was 780,000 gallons, and for the 24 hours up to 9 a.m. yesterday the gain was 590,000 gallons. The rainfall recorded for the 24 hours up to 9 a.m. yesterday was as follows: —Ross Creek 0.03 m. Whare Flat 0.03 in. Sullivan’s Dam 0.05 in.
