FIRST CHURCH WEDDING

BRIDE IN WHITE LACE The marriage was solemnised recently at First Church of John Keith, eldest son of Mr and Mrs John S. Skinner, of High street, and Shirley, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs Roy H. Fraser, of Roslyn. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. Allen Stevely, assisted by the Rev. Ronald Watson. The bride wore a frock of white lace over cream satin, made on fitting lines, with a short train falling from a low waist-line. Her lace veil was crowned with fresh flowers and she carried a bouquet of cream lilies. The bridesmaids. Miss Ngaire Skinner and Miss Jill Fraser, wore frocks of white tulle over deep cream taffeta, with ruched bodices and very full skirts. Their bouquets were pink and cream and they wore pjnk flowers in their hair. Mr Charles Baker was the best man and Mr Huntly Skinner the groomsman. •The reception took place at the Somerset Lounge, where the guests were received by Mr and Mrs Fraser and Mr and Mrs Skinner. Mrs Fraser wore a furtrimmed suit of light navy with a light navy hat. Her shoulder spray was of anemones. Mrs Skinner's suit was of burgundy, with which she wore a hat to tone and a spray of pink carnations. For travelling the bride, wore a saxe blue suit, a small hat to match, and brown accessories.
