WAITAKI HOSPITAL
MONTHLY MEETING OF BOARD Mr James Rodman was in the chair at the monthly meeting of the Waitaki Hospital Board yesterday morning, and there were also present Mrs T. A. Munro, Messrs K. Familton, H. C. Jeffery, N, H. Colquhoun, S. M. Taylor, G. O. Pringle, and W. E. Aubrey. The secretary, Mr W. Richardson, reported that applications had been called for the position of district nurse and applicants were being interviewed. Appointments and Resignations The following appointments were confirmed:—Miss H. Ryeburn, sister, Oamaru Public Hospital; Miss N. G. Nightingale, staff nurse, Oamaru Public Hospital; staff nurses, Oamaru Public Hospital: Nurses E. Arker, D Hunt, M. McDougall. D. Tempero, and M. Bush. The resignations of Miss I. Stewart (matron, Victoria Home), and Nurses G. Booker M. L. Addison, V. McDonald, L. R. Ericson, I. G. Hewlett, D. J. Mowat, and G. I Cross, were accepted with regret Institution Reports Oamaru Public Hospital.—Patients in hospital at beginning of month 123, admitted during month 156. discharged 156, died 10. remaining 113. Operations performed 79, outpatients’ visits’ 380, daily average of inpatients 120.9.
