WAR-TIME ROMANCES
CANADIAN GIRLS EN ROUTE TO DOMINION Rec. 8 p.m. VANCOUVER, Mar. 19. Five Canadian girls left to-day for New Zealand, via San Francisco, four of them to marry former airmen stationed here. Jean Crosbie, aged 23, of Dunville, Ontario, is en route to Christchurch to marry lan Rankin, a dress designer. Irene Trent, of Calgary, Alberta, is en route to, Christchurch to marry a civil ser-" vant, Bill Hansen. Two others, Mary Mahoney and Neena McClement. from Eastern Canada, have left for undisclosed destinations. Mrs Doreen Fox is en route to Auckland to visit the parents of her late husband. Dene Fox, a pilot in the R.N.Z.A.F., who was sl]ot down over France in 1941.
