REPAIRS TO WANGANELLA
STEPS TO END DEADLOCK P.A. WELLINGTON, Mar. 20. That steps are being taken to try to end the deadlock in regard to repair work on the Wanganella was indicated by. advice to-day that a letter had been sent by- William Cable and Co., contractors for the repair work, to the union committee, handling the negotiations, for the unions involved, asking the men to start work on the ship within 24 hours. '
