FURTHER LOSS OF STORAGE Though a drizzling rain fell last night, the rate of consumption of water in Dunedin continues to exceed the amount entering the city reservoirs from the various supply sources, with the result that the total storage figure last night stood at 79,000,000 gallons. The City Engineer, Mr S. G. Scoular, said yesterday that unless there was a substantial fall of rain within the next few days, the City Water Department would be compelled to take steps to restrict the use of water for industrial purposes so that it might be conserved to maintain household supplies
