REMOVAL OF TELEPHONE LINE P.A, WELLINGTON, Mar. 20. A direct telephone line between a Wellington broadcasting station and the Dominion Sportsmen’s Association has been removed. Invited to comment, an official of the Post and Telegraph Department said it would not be fair to give any information regarding any work done for any client and that any information should come from the broadcasting authorities. Professor Shelley, director of broadcasting, had no comment to make regarding the removal of the line. “We just do not want it. That’s all,” he said.
