OBITUARY

MR J. M. McLEAN p.A, WELLINGTON, Mar. 19. The death occurred at Heretaunga yesterday of Mr James McPherson McLean, former assistant general manager and inspector of the National Bank of New Zealand. Mr -McLean, who was aged 91, retired from the Bank in 1921 after 48 years’ service. MR E. J. GRAVESTOCK The death is reported from Sydney of Mr E. J. Gravestock, at one time well known in New .Zealand as manager of J. and N. Tait’s concert attractions. Mr Gravestock, an Englishman, went to Australia in 1912.
