SUDAN APPOINTMENT
NEW GOVERNOR-GENERAL LONDON, Mar. 16. It is officially announced that King Karouk, on British recommendation, has appointed Sir Robert Howe Governor-General of the Sudan to succeed Sir Hubert Huddleston, who ha.for some time desired to retire.
