FIRST AUSTRALIAN RACE Rec. 11 p.m. SYDNEY, Mar, 17. Golden Souvenir, who will have his first Australian race In the Rawson Stakes next Saturday, is still without a rider. Munro is considered likely if he is not required for Russia. Trainer M. McCarten said he was pleased with the way Golden Souvenir had worked since his arrival, and was hopeful that he could strike his best Dominion form. Hie choice of a rider depended on his form and that of other horses As J. Thompson, N. Shellwood, H. Badger and A. Breasley would be in Sydney for the meeting, he did not anticipate trouble ingetting an accomplished rider.
