April 5 Metropolitan TC Jottings The Dillon Hall pacer Popotai should step his way out of trial company before long. Lord Grattan is reported to be one of the most improved trotters in Southland. G. S. Smith has Turco in work and the Rev de Oro gelding will be raced at the Addington Easter meeting. Wyndham Candidate Beau Jument, a candidate for the Ferry Handicap at Wyndham, is an aged bay mare by Quite Sure from Edith Bingen, and is trained at Invercargill by H. Booth. Grattan Loyal Mare Lottie Dale is an aged mare by Grattan Loyal from Margaret Dillon. At the Invercargill meeting on March 1 she was started twice, and showed speed on each occasion, but lost any chance she had by breaking.
