ATHLETIC ANNUAL MEETING Mr D. Burns was in the' chair at the annual meeting of the Athletic Football Club on Wednesday night. The annual report was adopted, and thanks were extended to the following for donations of trophies:—Mrs D. Burns, Mrs L. Tavendale, Messrs R. Hunt, sen., J. Burns, B. Halkett, D. Devon, J. W. Harrison; L. Smart, and the Doran family. The opening day. was set down for Saturday, March 29, at 1.30 p.jn., at Takaro Park. It was decided on the motion of Mr L. Tavendale that the Morris Cup be open to all grades. , . , The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr J. Grant; president, Mr D. Burns; senior vice-president, Mr C. Taylor; junior vice-president, Mr W. Budd; vice-presidents, all re-elected with the additions of Messrs A. King, B. McConnell, and R. Tiifvey; secretary and treasurer, Mr D. Lawrie; auditor, Mr ,M. F. Cooney; trustees, Messrs D. Burns and C. Taylor; club captain, Mr L. Tavendale; subscriptions treasurer, Mr 'L. Tavendale;. delegates to North Otago Rugby Union — Messrs R. Brown, W. Budd, L. Tavendale, and C. Taylor; Emergency Committee— Messrs D. Burns, D. Lawrie, and L. Tavendale; General Committee—Messrs H. Kilgour, R. Brown, R. Young, S. Ireland, D. Devon, W. Budd, R. McLeod, R. Hammill, B. Halkett, J. Burns, K. Connors, and F. Nightingale; coaches—senior Mr K. McLeod, junior Mr B. Halkett, Third Grade Mr W. Budd, Fourth Grade Mr R. Brown. Old Boys’ Club Mr H. Daniell was in the chair at the annual meeting of the Old Boys’ Football Club, held in the Bungalow reception room on Wednesday night. The opening day was fixed for Saturday, March 29. The secretary was instructed to write to the Old Boys’ clubs in Waimate and Timaru and to the Otekaike Club regarding friendly matches. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr J. T.
