BARRAGE WINS PRESIDENT’S (P.A.) CARTERTON, Jan. 2. The sepond day of the Wairarapa Racing Club’s meeting was held in dull weather, the attendance being very large. The totalisator handled £43,073, compared with £38,065 on the same day last year, making the total for the meeting £104.603, compared with £93,457, an increase of £11,146.
