RECORD TURNOVER
TOTALISATORS IN BRITAIN (Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 1. The Racecourse Betting Control Board has announced that the totalisator turnover on racecourses in Britain during 1946 was £14,790,000, which is £5,000,000 in excess of the previous record turnover in 1933.
