INTERISLAND MATCH TO-DAY The Dominion women’s golf championship tournament, which will begin at the Srlrley course to-day, will open with a teams’ match—North Island v South Island. The following will represent the North Island:—Mrs G. W. Hollis (Titirangi), Mrs P Glanville (Te Awamutu), Miss R. Hodges Auckland), Mrs D. Crombie (Wellington), Mrs P. Andrew (Titirangi), Mrs R. F. Hutchinson (Poverty Bay), Miss Dorothy Todd (Masterton), Miss E. Wilkinson (Grange); emergency. Mrs J. B. Hatrick (Miramar). The South Island .team comprises Miss Jean Horwell (Timaru), Miss Zoe Hudson (Christchurch), Mrs H. A. Penn (Russlev), Mrs Lawles (Otago), Mrs Burnett (St. Clair), Mrs C. J. Ward (Christchurch), Miss Heldn Buchanan (Christchurch), Mrs B. Andrews (Hokitika); emergency. Miss L. Johnstone (Russley).
ST. CLAIR CLUB
A B Grade Medal Competition for trophies given by Mrs M. L. Williams was played by the St. Clair Ladies’ Golf Club on the Corstorphine links on Tuesday. The following are the results:—Mrs F. G. McPherson 109—32—7, Mrs Sinclair 110— 31 —79, Mrs E. M. Brown 107—27—80, Mrs J. W. Trewern 97—16—81, Mrs F. G. Coxhead 117—36—81.
BELLEKNOWES CLUB
A trophy given by Mrs George for the Bogey Match played on Tuesday by the Belleknowes Ladies' Golf Club was won by Mrs North. . 'An extra L.G.U. Medal Match will be played next Tuesday.
