WOMAN’S SUDDEN DEATH

After evidence had been given by Dr S' S’. Ath (Pathologist at the Dunedin Public Hospital), Mr H W. Bundle, S.M. sitting as coroner, found at the inquest yesterday on Margaret Jane -Cooper, a single woman, 47 years of age, that death, which occurred on August 9, was caused by sudden heart failure resulting from advanced atheromatous narrowing of the left coronary artery. The inquest had been adjourned so that a post-mortem examination could be made by Dr D'Ath Sergeant C. J R, Bisset conducted the proceedings for the police.
