A VISITOR’S THANKS

Sir,—On behalf of the officers, crew and myself, I wish to thank the good citizens of Dunedin for the grand time received by us all during our stay here. Having been in the port 26 days, we are all sorry to leave our friends here, and trust it will not be long before we pay another visit.

The people and town of Dunedin are more like our home folk and towns than any other port in the world. We all appreciate the wonderful way in which we have been treated both in business and socially in this port. Again thanking you and wishing all the best to our friends and to “ the Edinburgh of the south," —I am, etc., H. H. Wilson. 0.8. E., Master, S.S. Fort Nashwaak. Dunedin, August 27.
