WELCOME HOME SOCIAL A large number of residents gathered recently in the Outram Town Hall to welcome home Privates G. Grant and D. Adams from Japan. Mr A. Walker welcomed the guests and presented each soldier with the usual gift. Mr G. Fleming spoke on behalf of the R.S.A. Songs were sung by Mrs Latimer, with Miss Williamson as the accompanist. The Outram Brass Band also gave Items. Dance music was supplied by W. Irving’s orchestra, and Mr M. Bathgate was the M.C.
