YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB

At a well attended meeting held at Kaitangata recently, it was decided to form a Young Farmers Club. Mr J. A. Bowie presided and introduced Mr J. G. Richards, of the Department of Agriculture and secretary of the South Otago Young Farmers’ committee, who outlined the aims and objects of the movement. The following office-bearers were elected:—Advisory president, Mr J. A. Bowie: senior advisory members, Messrs D. Bissett. S. McCrostie, and V Vercoe: club chairman, Mr N. Morrison; secretary. Mr V. Vercoe; committee, Messrs I. Vercoe, H. McCrostie, and B. Twaddle.
