POLICY STATEMENT
(From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 16.
No legislation had been prepared providing for the acquisition of privately owned coal mines, said the Primt Minister, Mr Fraser, to-night. The Budget reference to nationalisation of the mines represented a statement of policy.
