INDOOR BASKETBALL

CHAMPIONSHIP TO Y.M.C.A. The interclub championship for 1946 was completed tnis week with Y.M.C.A. Boys 11, composed of the Williams brothers (Arthur, Walter, William and Len), T. Crowe and A. Mills the winning team with 20 points, Y.M.C.A. I and 111 18 points second, and Training College 14 points next. The competition was keenly contested with weli-oalanced team work rather than individual brilliance, the deciding factors in Y.M.C.A. Boys’ win. The Third Grade championship was won by Training College D, which is composed entirely of first-year players. The Training College C team was second and A.T.C. Band third. In the finals of the Mercantile Division Taxes A defeated Roslyn Mill A and these two teams will play off. The result of Group HI championship is still in doubt.
