RETURN FROM LONDON

THE VICTORY CONTINGENT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 12. The Maunganui, bringing the New Zealand Victory Contingent on its return from the United Kingdom is due at Wellington at 8 o’clock to-morrow morning. It is proposed that the party, after having been greeted by representatives of the Government, will disperse. Disembarkation will be commenced at 9.25 a.m.

The South Island personnel, numbering 74, will be quartered to-morrow evening at Fort Dorset, and will travel south by the interisland steamer on Wednesday evening.
