LARGE UNITED STATES LOAN TREATIES PASS SCRUTINY (Rec. 7 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Aug. 10 The United States to-day unfroze 40,000,000-dollar Export and Import Bank loan to Poland, after receiving from the Polish Government the texts of its economic treaties with other countries. The whole of the 90,000,000dollar financial assistance initially announced for Poland early in 1946 has now been restored. The Export and Import Bank credit is to be used to purchase locomotives and coal cars in the United States. The Export and Import Bank also approved a loan of 10,000,000 dollars to Saudi Arabia for the purchase of food and other commodities in the United States
