SUPPLIES FOR EUROPE
CASE FOR UNITED NATIONS (Rec. 7.50 p.m.) GENEVA. Aug. 10. A proposal that the future of U.N.R.R.A. shipments to Europe should be placed before the United Nations General Assembly was made by Mr Tyler Wood (United States) at a meeting of the U.N.R.R.A. General Council. Mr Pozharsky (Russia) said he believed U.N.R.R.A. itself should continue to exist if there was agreement on the continued need for relief shipments.
