HOUSE CONSTRUCTION
AMERICAN TECHNIQUE STUDY BY DOMINION ARCHITECT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 9. In order to study American technique in house building and the use of new materials, and with a view to the possible adoption of some of them in New Zealand as a means of speeding up the construction of nomes, the Public Works Department is sending the chief architect. of its housing division. Mr G. F. Wilson, to the United States. He is expected to spend about three months in America, and will sail in the Rangitiki on Wednesday.
