BREAD DELIVERY

MASTER BAKERS’ ATTITUDE LEFT TO DOMINION BODY The question of what action will be taken by master bakers following the decision of the Price Tribunal to permit increased charges for bread delivered to houses has been referred to a special meeting of the council of the New Zealand Federation of Master Bakers and Pastrycooks, to be held in Wellington on August 20 and 21. This statement was made to the Daily Times by Mr A. T. Robertson, president of the Otago branch of the federation, following a meeting of his organisation yesterday. Mr Robertson declined to make any other statement about the position of bread deliveries.
