AUCKLAND INVESTIGATION

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, Aug 9. Another unavailing search for the Australian desperado, Antonio Martini was conducted by a party of 14 detectives and uniformed police on board the Welchelmsen Line motor ship Toulouse before she berthed at Prince's wharf to-day. The vessel had been anchored in the stream since 6.25 a.rn on Wednesday, when she arrived from Lisbon via South African and Australian ports. It was thought that Martini might have concealed himself on board the Toulouse before she sailed from Sydney on August 3.
