FATAL INJURIES

KNOCKED FROM BICYCLE (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 8. Fatal injuries were received by a well-known resident of the Te Aroha district when he was knocked from his bicycle by a car near the Te Aroha racecourse to-night. He was Thomas Edgar, a middle-aged man, who was headmaster of the Elstow School. He was taken to the Waikato Hospital, but died before he was admitted.
