WOMEN’S COMPETITION

OTAGO AND KING’S LEAD

The grounds at the Oval were once again dry and fast for the continuation of the second round matches in the Otago Women’s Hockey Asociation's competition. The use of a roller is needed, however, to smooth out bumpy patches. King’s had a runaway victory over Dunedin while Otago found University off form Momona, by defeating Training College, is now potentially third in the senior competition, still having one first round match to play. The results were as follows: — KJngs 10, Dunedin 0. Otago 4, University 1. Momona 4, Training College 3. Taieri, a bye.
