TIMARU MEETING

MONEY BIRD A PROSPECT There are very few meetings left on the calendar for the present season, consequently the South Canterbury Jockey Club’s meeting, to be held today, will arouse more than the usual interest, and the form displayed may provide a line to 1 more important events to be decided in the early part of next season. The fields carded for to-day include horses who are likely to be engaged at the Grand National meeting. The following may be in favour for their engagements to-day:—
