PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF A LOAN. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Balclutha Borough Council proposes at its meeting to be held on the 31st day of July. 1946, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for it's sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £60.000 (Sixty Thousand Pounds) for the purpose of carrying out the installation of a sewerage scheme for the Borough. The security for such Loan shall be a Special Rate of 8.5 d in the £1 on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Balclutha. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Balclutha Borough Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
