ELEVEN SPEECHES YESTERDAY (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON. July 5. Eleven members, six Opposition and five Government, took part in the Address-in-Reply debate in the House of Representatives to-day. and their speeches covered a wide range of subjects. There were no contributions from the Ministerial benches. The annual report of the Bank of New Zealand, the first since it became a State institution, was presented, and also the report of the New Zealand delegation to the General Assembly of the United Nations in London, In January and February. The House rose at 5.30 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. next Wednesday, when the future sitting hours of the House will be considered.
