SCHOOL ATHLETICS
In conjunction with the Caversham Harrier Club's one mile race on Saturday. the annual long-distance race for pupils of the Caversham School was held. The race, for which a trophy is presented by the Harrier Club, resulted in a win for John Harris, with Noel Cunningham second. The president of the club (Mr H. T. Emmerson) gave a running commentary on the races by means 'of a loud-speaker. Afternoon tea was served by the ladies.
