RESIGNATION DELAYED

NEW SOUTH WALES PREMIER SYDNEY, Feb.' 18. The Premier, Mr W. J. McKell, is expected to agree to the request of the New South Wales executive of the Australian Labour Party not to resign until after the presentation of the next Budget, probably in October. It is stated that he is deeply interested in pending legislation, which includes Bills covering liquor reform and the publication of divorce evidence. Some party members are annoyed that he announced his intention to retire before informing the caucus.
