MAYFAIR THEATRE

One of the truly groat motion pictures to emerge from the Hollywood production sets, “ Gone With the Wind ” was screened at the Mayfair Theatre yesterday. In this screen adaptation of Margaret Mitchell’s famous story, the selected cast has fulfilled the reader’s conception of such compelling characters as Scarlett O'Hara. Rhett Butler, and Ashley Wilkes. The principal players are Vivien Leigh (as Scarlett), Clark Gable (as Butler). Leslie Howard. Olivia de Havilland, Thomas Mitchell, and other notable screen personalities. The picture is filmed in admirable technicolor.
