ARCHBISHOP’S TOUR
AMERICA AND CANADA LONDON, Jan. 6. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Geoffrey Fisher, has accepted an invitation to visit America and Canada. At the invitation of the Anglican Primate of Canada, he will attend the General Synod at Winnipeg on September 4. He has also accepted an invitation from the presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church of the United States to attend the general convention in Philadelphia on September 8.
