PRIME MINISTER’S VIEWS CANBERRA, Jan. 4. In reply to criticism that there had been no Australian honours, the Prime Minister, Mr J. B. Chifley, said that the Commonwealth Government had decided not to award any New Year Honours. He personally ■ agreed heartily with the collective Government decision. Army officers in Melbourne said that the 1946 Honours List was the largest ever submitted.
