GRAND THEATRE
Laurel and Hardy are again partnered in “The Big Noise,” which is now in its second week. The two inimitable comedians have been given ample opportunities and also a good story to give cohesion and interest to their hilarious activities—this time, as detectives. Some of the film s scenes are very funny, especially that in which Laurel and Hardy prepare to retire in the confined space of a sleeping compartment in a train. The supporting programme is well-balanced and intei esting. The box plans are at the theatre.
