WOOL APPRAISALS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 15. The Wellington Woolbrokers’ Association reports that at the wool appraisals which commenced on November 23, 14,915 bales totalling 5,437,7501 b, were appraised. The proceeds were £320,744, an average a bale of £2l 10s Id, and an average a lb of 14.156 d. A large proportion of the clips did not compare with last season’s in colour and soundness.
