U.N.R.R.A.'s OPERATIONS
AMERICAN APPROPRIATION WASHINGTON, Dec. 12. Congress approved the 550,000,000dollar U.N.R.R.A. appropriation, constituting the balance of the United States commitment for the first year of U.N.R.R.A.’s operations. The appropriation carries an amendment requesting President Truman to seek permission for American pressmen to enter the countries aided by U.N.R.R.A. to report how the money is spent.
