GREEK GOVERNMENT

E.A.M. SUPPORT WITHDRAWN ATHENS, Dec. 12.

The E.A.M. announced the withdrawal of its support from the Sofoulis Government, “ because it betrayed its Republican mission.’’ The statement went on: ‘‘The same policy which was inaugurated after December and led Greece to internal anarchy, economic dislocation, and external isolation continues.” The statement deplored “the negative influence of British official representatives on the domestic development of Greece."
